The Need: Livingston County Hunger Council (LCHC) Pantry Partners are seeing an increased need for nutritious breakfast options. The LCHC has 12 of pantry partners working together to provide support to Livingston County residents.
Help Us Share Hope – One Breakfast At a Time
A simple bowl of oatmeal can mean comfort, nourishment, and hope for someone facing hunger. Our Meals of Hope oatmeal breakfast bags will be distributed through Livingston County Hunger Council (LCHC) pantry partners to families in need — but we can’t do it without you.
Your sponsorship will help the Livingston County Hunger Council purchase the supplies and necessary oatmeal bag items to help our neighbors in need.
Our goal is to raise $4,000.00 to put together 10,000 oatmeal breakfast bags and make this an annual event.
About the Meals of Hope Project
The LCHC will partner with Meals of Hope to purchase the supplies and materials to make oatmeal bags to provide to LCHC Pantry Partners. By partnering with Meals of Hope the average cost per bag is 45 cents. This includes the packaging, ingredients, and boxes to put the bags together. Our goal is to distribute 10,000 bags. Ingredients per bag will include: quick oats dried milk, cinnamon, dried apples and sugar. Each bag will contain 8 meals and will be shelf stable for up to one year.

🥄 Silver Spoon Sponsors ($500.00) will be acknowledged through a thank you social media post, logo listed on the Hunger Council website and receive verbal recognition during the meal packaging event.
🥣 Classic Bowl Sponsors ($250.00) organization logo listed on the Hunger Council website.
