• The Giving Box: Located at 220 S. Howell St., Pinckney (On the porch of the Pinckney Village Hall and Police Department)
• Brighton Imagination Station Free Food Pantry: Located near the bathrooms at the Imagination Station playground in downtown Brighton
• Howell Free Food Pantry: Located in the Howell Police Department parking lot 611 Grand River Ave. in Howell

Food Programs

SNAP is a government program administered by the Michigan Department of Human Services. For people who qualify, the program puts money on a debit card to buy food at your local participating grocery store. Apply online to see if you qualify.

The Commodity Supplemental Food Programs (CSFP) is a federally funded program which works to improve the health of elderly people of at least 60 years of age by supplementing their diets with nutritious USDA commodity foods.  Locally, the CSFP program is administered by OLHSA.

Women, Infants and Children (WIC) provides Federal grants to States for supplemental foods, health care referrals, and nutrition education for low-income pregnant, breastfeeding, and non-breastfeeding postpartum women, and to infants and children up to age five who are found to be at nutritional risk.
